The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of the RIA and investment management landscape with strong relationship-management skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to develop strategic relationships with senior decision-makers at advisory firms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic partner for a defined territory of existing Advyzon Investment Management clients.

  • Segment and tier the client base based on factors such as assets, revenue, growth potential, relationship complexity, strategic importance, and opportunity for expansion.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans that establish appropriate service levels, engagement strategies, growth objectives, and relationship priorities for each client segment.
  • Conduct structured quarterly, semi-annual, and annual business reviews based on client tier and strategic importance.
  • Drive organic growth within the existing client base by identifying opportunities to increase net new assets and share of wallet with AIM.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the use of AIM's investment management capabilities and solutions within existing relationships.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of assets held with AIM as well as potential assets held elsewhere to identify opportunities to deepen each relationship.
  • Proactively monitor relationship health, client engagement, asset flows, product utilization, and potential retention risks.
  • Develop and execute strategies to protect and retain client assets while addressing issues before they become potential attrition events.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple levels of client organizations, including firm owners, executives, advisors, investment teams, operations professionals, and other key stakeholders.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients internally, coordinating with investment management, trading, operations, service, product, technology, and leadership teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Partner with AIM's investment and product teams to communicate relevant capabilities, platform enhancements, investment solutions, and new opportunities to existing clients.
  • Maintain accurate client plans, relationship activity, asset-growth opportunities, risks, and next steps within the company's CRM.
  • Provide leadership with regular visibility into territory health, client retention, net asset flows, expansion opportunities, and emerging client needs.
  • Gather structured client feedback and market intelligence to help inform AIM's product, service, and strategic priorities.
  • Participate in client events, industry conferences, and other relationship-building activities as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with AIM's Senior Vice Presidents of Business Development to ensure a seamless transition of newly acquired clients from the sales process into long-term relationship management.
  • Act as a senior representative of AIM and consistently deliver a high-touch, consultative client experience.
